What inspired you to pursue a career in events?
I thrive off of making new connections and I love a good challenge. Event work provides both of those. The people are simply amazing and no two events are ever the same. Whether personal or business, a lot of energy , heart and passion goes into an event and I love being able to document that for my clients. It's really a rewarding field to be in.

What is your role in the event industry?
Photographer
What sort of events do you produce or you are interested?
Personal and corporate events.
What's the biggest lesson you have learned that you would like to share with those new to the industry?
New photographers tend to underestimate preparation. There are so many elements of preparation that a photographer can be involved with to make the outcome of the photography better than "just showing up and shooting."
I find it key to do a walk through with my client (preferably at the time of the event will actually take place) in order to have a good understanding of the lighting I'll have to work with. It's crucial to have a clear understanding of the agenda/schedule.
What would you like to see improved in the event industry?
Everything - haha. It's pretty none existent right now.

Any! Haha
